Looking Forward

We packed up the robot tonight and will be hauling it all to GVSU tomorrow. I'll be heading out there for un-packing at about 6 pm. I'll try to twitter a bit during the evening. We plan to get the robot inspected and get some practice in before calling it a night.

There is one website that makes up most of the online FIRST community and this is Chief Delphi. There are always lots of interesting discussions and predictions going on, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I just read.

There is a user on Chief Delphi that goes by the name of "Looking Forward". He/she claims to not be associated with any team and only gives honest analysis of upcoming events.

Here's a snippet of what Looking Forward wrote today about the upcoming West Michigan District event.

85, 107, 862, 904, and 1918 will all factor into this event heavily. Two or three of these teams will likely be alliance captain, and one or two could reach the finals. All of them except 107 are sitting comfortably in spots for Ypsi next weekend (1918 is 5th, but has already played twice). 107 still has work left to do, but it won't take much for them to punch their ticket (only a handful of wins and an elimination appearance would be more than enough), but they'll want more.
