We've selected 2 students that will be our primary robot drivers for this year. We will be making this announcement at tomorrow's full team meeting. We also discussed our travel plans for our first competition in Traverse City at the end of the month.
Tonight we finished up the simple acceleration ramp-up code, and will probably try it on the robot tomorrow, if we have enough time. We're still making good progress, I just wish it was a little quicker.
We haven't had any of the "week 5 gotchas" like we had last year, although last year most of our problems were related to the gyro. This year the gyro isn't going to be as important in our autonomous strategies.
